Daily Schedule

Pin Oak students follow a "modified block" schedule designed to maximize instructional time and support high-quality learning. On "Blue" and "Gray" days, students attend four of their eight classes, each for 90 minutes, allowing for deeper engagement in each subject.

Additionally, the schedule includes a dedicated period called "Team Time," which provides students with the opportunity to work on homework, meet with teachers for extra support, make up missed assignments, or complete required IXL interventions.

Once a week, students follow a "Charger Day" schedule, during which they attend all eight of their classes.

Important Notes:

  • School hours are 8:30 – 4:00.
  • ADA Attendance is taken daily at  9:30 AM. Students must be present in class to be considered "present," for the day. 
  • Staff will be available to answer the phone between 8:00 am and 4:15 pm.
  • The first bell rings at 8:30 and the dismissal bell is at 4:00 pm.
  • There is no adult supervision outside the building before 7:45 am and after 4:15 pm.
  • Only students participating in a designated activity are allowed in the building before or after these times
